The State/Executive Branch Budget: appropriate from the General Fund (Tobacco), General Fund, Restricted Funds, Federal Funds, Road Fund, Bond Funds, Highway Bonds, Agency Bonds, Capital Construction Surplus, Investment Income, and other funds, $58,437,300 in fiscal year 2009-2010, $29,086,946,400 in fiscal year 2010-2011, and $25,258,797,100 in fiscal year 2011-2012, as follows:
Confirm Executive Order 2014-988, dated December 17, 2014, reorganizing the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
Amend KRS 15.010, relating to the Department of Law, to rename or restructure various units within the department; abolish the Financial Integrity Enforcement Divisions maintaining functions within the Office of Attorney General; abolish the Child Support Enforcement Commission; amend various other statutes to conform.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 164 to establish the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship Program; direct the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority to administer the program; define student eligibility for the scholarship; prescribe the calculation of the scholarship amount; require the Kentucky Community and Technical College System to submit information to the authority required for the administration of the program; APPROPRIATION.
Repeal the provisions of SB 151 enacted in 2018 that were declared unconstitutional and void by the Kentucky Supreme Court; reenact and amend those provisions to return them to their original pre-SB 151 language; make technical and conforming changes.
